What you’ll do ​& Who you are

Would you like to join a leading online classified group with leading strong brands across Europe? The FP&A Benelux team is looking for a finance intern to join for an immersive finance internship.

You will be joining a team of 4 people, working on managing, forecasting and budgeting full P&L financials while maintaining a strong finance business partnership.

The FP&A Benelux team is responsible for the Dutch & Belgian business of Adevinta (Marktplaats & 2dehands) and reports to the Finance Benelux market lead.

This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office) and the office is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you'll do:

• Support in Month end close activities: Revenue close, expenses and accruals reviews

• Prepare and update the weekly revenue tracking reports

• Support in monthly, quarterly, annual forecast reports and updates

• Invoice allocation and actuals tracking

• Work closely with P2P and budget owners on ensuring M.E.C deliverables and smooth finance transformation

Who you are:

• You already live in the Netherlands and are entitled to work here as a working student 32-40 hours per week

• You are doing your Master in the Netherlands with specialization in Finance or economics

• Good Excel/Google Sheet skills are a requirement. Experience with SQL is a bonus.

• Outstanding proficiency in communication in English with the ability to present clear ideas to the leadership

• Ability to work in an agile & flexible environment and adjustability to new ways of working

• A good accounting knowledge and a prior experience in FP&A are a high plus.
