PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The FP&A Analyst position is responsible for supporting the distribution leadership team members and Manager of FP&A.  This position is located at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site.

The FP&A Analyst will support implementing FP&A processes and analysis primarily to support the Arbon business unit.  This position will have the opportunity to provide adhoc support to the Material Transfer Zone and Interior Solutions Group.  The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, strong financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
 

  • Support the coordination of global financial planning and forecasting processes, including standardization into the districts.
  • Support the progression of forecasting to a driver-based approach, incorporating both internal and external drivers of business performance.
  • Collaborate with accounting on month end results, including P&L and balance sheet activity
  • Consolidate and prepare monthly financial results, annual budget, semi-annual forecasts, and business metrics across the business units.
  • Coordinate monthly operating review packages across the business units.
  • Manage SG&A cost centers and partner with leadership team members as needed on adhoc analysis.
  • Develop and prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing company performance, trends, and improvement initiatives along with actionable insights.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management to drive strategic objectives and initiatives.
  • Must be able to commute to our Milwaukee Headquarters a minimum of 3 days a week without relocation support.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-5 years of experience in progressive finance roles
  • 1-2 years previous experience working in an FP&A role
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CTP, FPAC) is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and modern software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively outside the finance department and across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial modeling.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
