FP&A Analyst

Huntsman is looking to recruit a FP&A Analyst to join our Global Business Service located in Krakow. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is interested in joining a growing organization and helping to establish the patterns and practices of the Global Reporting and Analysis team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial data, validating and checking data integrity, and supporting the preparation of various dashboards and reports. This role involves regional and global responsibilities, including month-end closing activities, data loading into systems, and collaborating with other HUBs and internal stakeholders. The role is based in Krakow with the ability to work in a hybrid model.

As the FP&A Analyst, you will:

  • Provide accurate financial data and ensure data integrity for the GR&A team.
  • Extract, validate, and combine data to produce standard reports and to maintain high-quality financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of various dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, reporting tasks, and coordinate with other functions to ensure timely closing.
  • Collaborate with regional HUBs to ensure alignment and consistency in the reporting process.
  • Answer queries from internal stakeholders, providing required financial data and insights if needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.
  • Support the team in ad-hoc analysis and financial projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Accounting, Finance, Controlling or Economics
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, with a focus on reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must; experience with Power BI and SAP is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn and develop in financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong working relationships with, and influence, colleagues and senior stakeholder in multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
