We are currently looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial who will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.

This role will occasionally work with the FP&A Lead on Management Reporting with some exposure to the Senior Director FP&A of Cardinal Health Canada. This is a hybrid role reporting at our Vaughan head office 2 days a week.

Eager to learn the business and demonstrates willingness to implement process improvement tools

Preparation of the monthly financial review (MFR) file in CAD & USD that is presented to the US team and Canadian Leadership Team

Analyze monthly revenues, variances, gross margin and preparing supporting documentation for analytics

Maintain internal controls over financial reporting while creating regional reports to support new business structure

Maintain E-Comm and Pandemic reporting to drive profitability and growth within the business unit along with achievement of key strategic initiatives

Gathering assumptions from Business Units in the development of budgets and forecasts (Sales and Marketing assumptions and with SG&A)

Preparation of the profitability analysis used to determine whether a contract will generate the required profit levels required by the business

Demonstrates strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse work groups – Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Contracts, Strategic Pricing, Customer Service, etc

Preparation of ad-hoc analysis as required and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in FP&A

Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance, preferred

Working towards a CPA designations, preferred

Highly proficient in Excel

Exposure to executive leadership is an asset

Experience in a budget cycle is an asset

Experience with Tableau or Power BI is an asset
