The Role

We’re hiring our first full-time product designer—a Principal-level role that’s pivotal in shaping both the product and the design culture at Source. This is an exciting opportunity to bring the clarity and delight of consumer-grade UX to enterprise software.

As our Founding Product Designer, you’ll lead design efforts from concept to execution, ensuring our interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business leads to translate user needs into elegant solutions—and play an active role in our product council to shape how we build.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end design for key product initiatives—from concept to implementation
• Conduct user research and translate insights into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI aligned with our design system
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life
• Seek and incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and data
• Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility, and design thinking across the company

What You’ll Bring to Source

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of overall experience in product design, with at least 3 years focused on SaaS, enterprise, or other complex digital products
• A user-first mindset with a strong eye for detail and elegant problem-solving
• Fluency in Figma, prototyping tools, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-informed design
• Solid understanding of design principles with basic HTML/CSS knowledge

Compensation Statement

Source carefully evaluates multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, education, and training.

The minimum salary for the Founding Product Designer position is $165,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $195,000 annually. The actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will be based on these factors and may vary accordingly.

In addition to base salary, successful candidates may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other incentives based on individual and company performance in alignment with Source’s applicable compensation and benefits programs.

Location Disclaimer

This is a remote-first role. That said, we have a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area to better support collaboration across time zones and key operational needs.
