In order to support the Flight Operations Support department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Flight Operations Tools On-Site Support (d/f/m)
The maintenance and service center for the Luftwaffe most versatile transport aircraft, the A400M, is located in Wunstorf. The service and ongoing adaptation to customer needs ensure the safe, reliable and economical operation of the German A400M fleet. As part of the Flight Operations Support department, you will be the A400M Flight Operations Tools On-Site Support specialist for the German Air Force in Wunstorf.
Your location
Wunstorf is located in the immediate vicinity of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony and directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Whether kitesurfing, hiking or going to the theater - this region offers a high recreational value and the full range of cultural opportunities as well as excellent medical care. The workplace is located at the air force base with direct contact to customer and product.

Your tasks and responsibilities
-
Assist the customer or ADS personnel for initial installation and configuration of the A400M flight operations tools
-
Assist the customer or ADS personnel for the introduction of patches of the A400M flight operations tools
-
Support the customer or ADS personnel in the definition of the overall Information Systems and IT environment setup for the A400M flight operations tools
-
Be able to support, maintain and further develop the A400M Flight Ops Tools locally developed in Visual Basic and Miscrosoft SQL DBS

Assist the customer or ADS in the daily operational use of the A400M flight operations tools

Acting as first line support
Desired skills and qualifications
-
Completed Studies in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
-
Proven experience in Flight Operations Tools, especially in IT topics
-
Strong relevant IT experience - ideally in a comparable role (facing customer)

Knowledge and high experience in Visual Basic programing and SQL DBs

Experience in customer service, technical assistance on-site and stakeholder-management

Teamplayer (good ability to work in Teams)

Constant learner and innovation focused

Fluent in German and English, Spanish is an advantage
