Job Description:
A vacancy for Flight Operations Support for A330 MRTT and Light Transport Aircraft has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space.
The successful applicant will join Services Department, specifically will join TASTO.
TASTO is the organization in charge of designing, developing and delivering Training and Operations Support solutions required by Airbus Defence and Space Customers to operate efficiently and safely their aircraft. In the frame of Operations Support solutions, to achieve its mission, TASTO is responsible for providing the Flight Operations Manuals that the aircraft fly with, as well as the Operations Support Services required to contribute to aircraft mission availability and mission success.
In order to increase TASTO capabilities to support upcoming Programs and increasing activity, TASTO has opened this new position.
The Job-Holder of this position will be in charge of ensuring that Flight Operations Manuals and Flight Operations Support products for LTA aircraft (C295, CN235, C212) and Airbus Derivatives (A330 MRTT) are delivered on time, on cost and on quality, and in accordance with Program Directives.
In order to achieve this goal, he/she will develop his/her functions by:

Managing the Contact Requirements for the applicable Programs and their impact in Flight Ops Products: Flight Operations Manuals (FCOM, AOM, WBM, CLM, PDM, QRH, MEL……) and Flight Operations Support Products (Operational Queries, Flight Operations Transmissions...)

Developing and implementing Project Management Plan, defining the required work and subcontracted packages in terms of scope, quality requirements, timescales and risks management, to meet the Programmes requirements and the applicable quality and regulatory standards.

Coordinating with the rest of the organization for the production of Flight Operations Manuals, in terms of schedule, aircraft configuration and source data, management of interdependencies, data validation plans, etc.

Supporting and Leading Program activities: activity monitoring and reporting, budget, etc.

Managing the subcontractors for the production of Flight Operations Products in terms of work supervision, schedule, monitoring, capabilities, etc.

Acting as product responsible in front of the customer and the organization, supporting as required any technical discussion under Flight Operations Manuals and Support.

Supporting as required the Entry into Service of the aircraft of the fleet: readiness of Flight Ops Manuals and revision process, Operations Support Processes, etc.

Keeping the fleet supported as far as Flight Ops Support products concern and in accordance with the applicable processes.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Educated in an Aeronautical Engineering degree or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in Customer Services.

Experience in Flight Operations Support, Operational Certification or Airline Operations would be a plus.

Knowledge of Configuration Control basics and related tools.

Knowledge of production tools (ADOPS, ADOC, SAMANTA SUITE) is advisable. XML edition experience as technical author.

Customer oriented.

Leading and negotiation skills. Ability to identify key issues.

Advanced level in English and Spanish. French would be an asset.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly motivated, able to work in a high demanding environment and with strong interdependencies.

Self-initiative and proactivity is highly desired.
