Job Title: FinOps Manager - Pricing
Synonymous Business Title: Finance Manager

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (strongly preferred) (or) Dallas, TX - this is a hybrid role that will be primarily virtual, but with local in-office presence as well.
Overview:

Blue Yonder is seeking a dynamic and experienced FinOps Manager (aka Finance Manager) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Azure licenses, and Snowflake costs, validating costing & pricing models, and analyzing key financial KPIs such as as sold margin and as-delivered margin. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and knowledge of Azure cost management, licensing costs, and strong technical skills in Excel to build and present financial models.
Responsibilities:

  • Help product costing & pricing process of Blue Yonder’s software products by analyzing infrastructure costs required to deploy and maintain Blue Yonder's products.

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering and pricing teams to validate inputs provided into the pricing models that accurately reflect the costs of delivering Blue Yonder's products, taking into account infrastructure, licensing, and other associated costs.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the financial impact of product features, enhancements, and investments.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making related to product pricing and profitability.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SaaS consumption, adoption, product costs and profitability.

  • Identify areas for cost optimization and improvement to enhance product margins and overall profitability.

  • Support SaaS renewals process with timely insights around price increases.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in FinOps, Azure cost management, license management, and cloud data warehouse cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, or related roles, with a focus on Azure cost management, license management and cloud cost optimization. Previous experience in pricing is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure, license and Snowflake cost management. Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and contribute to the development and execution of business strategies.

The base salary for this role is $105,000.00 to $120,000.00 plus a 12% annual bonus.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
