What You'll Do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Financial Systems to lead the maintenance, optimization and implementation of our financial systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting the company's growth. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial system management and reporting.

Financial Systems Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of financial systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Maintain expertise in core platforms such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, and Power BI.
  • Support billing and reporting systems while ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
  • Identify efficiency improvements through automation, workflow optimizations, and system enhancements.
  • Implement best practices in financial systems management, improving accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for system use and maintenance.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support Finance teams in data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure data consistency across various financial and business intelligence platforms.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement new systems, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to finance and business users.
  • Serve as the liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.

Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain data governance and security protocols to safeguard financial data.
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to financial systems.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 9+ years of experience in financial systems management, ideally in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Experience working in a large accounting firm or financial institution is a plus.

Must-Have:

  • SQL (Snowflake) – Data querying and optimization.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Development – Financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Power BI Development – Building data visualizations and reports.
  • Python – Data processing and automation.
  • APIs – Integrating financial systems.
  • Salesforce – CRM and financial data management.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Certified/Licensed Adaptive Developer
  • Pigment Development
  • dbt (Data Build Tool)
  • GitHub – Version control and collaboration.
