Pay: $85,500 - $90,000/hour

The FSS Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of legal client billing. This role requires a commitment to customer service and strong technical, analytic, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills. In addition to monitoring daily billing activities, this individual will also supervise the creation of budget projections for clients, support client profitability analyses, and lead special projects that support senior management decision-making
Job Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with degree in business, accounting or finance is required.

7+ years of sizable law firm billing experience, which must include not less than two years of sizable law firm billing management responsibility

Significant Elite or Aderant experience.

Demonstrated competence with Excel, to include pivot tables, v-look ups.

Significant E-billing Hub and e-billing vendor experience.

Work Experience: Required: not less than seven years of sizable law firm billing experience, which must include not less than two years of sizable law firm billing management responsibility
Job Relationships

Ensure that all paper and electronic billing meets Billing Partner and client standards. This requires the constant supervision and training of billing staff, frequent communications with law firm clientele and others involved with the billing process.

Oversee and manage staff

Provide budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc reporting specific to client needs.

Work closely with senior management and report on daily activities to resolve issues before they impact billing results.

Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines. Ensure that E-bills are monitored daily and rejected invoices are corrected in a timely manner.

Work with pricing and rates group regarding billing and exception to ensure compliance when billing.

Work closely with the Collections team regarding follow up on open invoices and special requests.

Perform other tasks as assigned.
