Financial Reporting Junior Analyst

Reporting team within Finance is responsible for statistical & prudential reports preparation and submission to several stakeholders including senior management, business leads and regulators.

The Finance Reporting Analyst is responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with counterparty credit and financial reporting for a large EMEA investment bank including capital calculation and monitoring. This requires knowledge about a wide range of financial products and close collaboration with many internal counterparties.

What you’ll do

• Production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports.

• Maintenance and further enhancement of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis.

• Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries).

• Exploit a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results.

What we’ll need from you

• Good analytical skills.

• University/College degree in finance/accounting.

• Understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, Financial Markets and Regulatory Reporting requirements is an advantage.

• Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL is an advantage.
