Complete, review, analyze and report various financial information in the Corporate Reporting department, for internal and external reporting requirements. Assist and complete various aspects of the period end close, consolidation and reporting process. Support the administration of the global SOX program, including identification of process improvements, accounting policy management, and review of internal control testing.

What You Will Do At Graco

  • Review monthly subsidiary financial information for accuracy as part of the global consolidation process in the Company’s consolidation system (OneStream), including:

    • Identification of unusual trends or variances

    • Review retranslation of multi-currency financials

    • Reconcile, communicate and resolve intercompany differences between subsidiaries

  • Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly bookings, billings and backlog reports to executive management, including the reconciliation of sales information to subsidiary financials

  • Supports semi-complex accounting activities such as account reconciliations and preparation of journal entries for the corporate general ledger (Oracle EBS); including those related to sales and cost of goods sold, intercompany investments,  bank transactions, legal and other judgmental accruals

  • Provide support in the administration of the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program and internal controls over financial reporting, including:

    • Responsible for the Company’s documentation related to scoping, processes, controls, testing and conclusions, including reviews of control testing for certain locations and departments

    • Manage the implementation of SOX programs at newly acquired entities

    • Analyze and enhance financial and operational processes at all locations worldwide

    • Maintenance and enhancement of a self-assessment program used by senior management in the quarterly and annual certifications

    • Consult on controls and accounting conformance to Graco principles, policies and practices and assist with global implementation of policies

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of timely SEC quarterly and annual reports, including:

    • The preparation of the annual and quarterly financial statements, footnotes, analyses, schedules, MD&A input, etc., and maintain supporting documentation

    • Prepare and/or review schedules related to the quarterly earnings release

  • Assist with reprojections and annual plan for the Company’s annual budget process

  • Assists with special projects, such as finance transformation activities, financial due diligence, opening balance sheet allocation, etc., or other projects, as assigned

  • Provide general guidance or train lower level support staff.

  • Support the internal and external audit process

What You Will Bring To Graco

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Masters in Business Administration (MBA), a plus

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience

  • Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required

  • Ability to multi-task and support various efforts in the department simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required

  • Intermediate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, SEC, PCAOB and SOX requirements

  • Experience in MS Office suite of products

  • Oracle EBS and/or OneStream experience preferred, but not required

  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Travel required

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation.  If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.  Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

$64,200.00 - $112,400.00
