We’re doing diagnostics differently, with a portfolio of brands tailored to both patients and providers, all backed by our world-class customer operations team. Our B2B platforms provide live scheduling at the point of care and harness AI to ease workflows for physicians, attorneys, and providers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

The Financial Reporting Accountant role will play a central role in our finance team, supporting our Accounting Manager to deliver trusted and accurate financial statements and reporting.

The role will be heavily involved in the month end close process for multiple entities, responsible for posting accruals, prepayments, and other journals to ensure reporting accuracy as well as compliance with accounting standards.

As well as the month end close process, there are many routine and ad hoc tasks through out the month to support a dynamic and fast growing business and finance team.

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial statements each month for multiple entities, ensuring all journals, costs allocations, and prepayments/accruals are complete
  • Ensure that revenue is being booked according to revenue recognition policy, and that there are regular reviews of that policy to ensure the reporting accuracy
  • Ensure that Balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis, with actions taken on any items requiring investigation
  • Daily performance reporting to the business: Sales, cash collections
  • Preparing management reports and providing financial analysis to support key business decisions

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:

  • Play a pivotal role in a timely month end close process
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements for multiple entities, with no significant errors
  • The Balance Sheet reconciliations process is in place and complete each month
  • Revenue is recognised according to revenue recognition policy across all entities and products
  • Clear communication of month-on-month, quarter-on-quarter, year-on-year variances in financial statements

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • A solid accounting background, with experience of journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations
  • A good understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
  • Comfortable with tight month end close deadlines and the ability to deliver against deadlines
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Experience of dealing with external auditors
  • NetSuite experience is essential
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel for financial analysis
  • Strong written and verbal skills to present financial insights clearly, with the ability to work cross-functionally to support business decisions

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We keep our interview process short and sweet, and we’re a nimble team that can progress at pace. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:

  1. Introductory call/interview with Devin, our Senior Talent Partner. The call is via telephone and will last around 30 minutes.
  2. Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a video call with the hiring manager for around 45 minutes. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.
  3. All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment, or further video calls. Length varies, but we’re mindful of your time and try to keep it as simple as possible.
  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, length varies depending on how many people and whether in person or via video call.
  5. Offer!
