About the Role
As a Senior FP&A (Financial Planning Analyst), you’ll oversee and manage financial planning and analysis, deliver insights to key stakeholders, and assist in supporting business decisions. Working in a hybrid capacity in Bogotá, you’ll help streamline data-driven processes while also contributing to budgeting, payroll, and financial strategy for global initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including revenue trends, gross margin performance, cost control, and P&L analysis.
- Lead and manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly outlooks.
- Analyze payroll and budgetary data to identify areas of improvement or opportunity.
- Create and deliver concise, clear management reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure financial health, strategy alignment, and effective resource planning.
- Leverage tools like Power BI or Tableau to enhance reporting efficiencies and deliver actionable insights.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Support leadership with ad hoc financial analyses and reporting needs.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams and functions.
- Identify process improvements and proactively drive effective solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and/or Tableau, and ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel).
- Highly proficient English language skills (B2+ minimum).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive, independent, and able to collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience with budgets, payroll, and financial strategy development.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Experience managing people or teams.
