Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of a young and dynamic Finance team providing financial leadership to the Division Management team and also carrying out key Financial Analyst tasks for the division. As a strategic business partner, this position will provide decision support, governance and financial planning and analysis to drive sustainable growth, profit improvement, value creation, and efficient business and financial controls in various ERP environments.
This position reports directly to the Division Finance Lead and has daily contact with the division leaders. The position is based in Istanbul, Turkey.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Preparing monthly reporting of the companies.
- Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
- Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
- Understanding key business drivers.
- Developing financial projections and building financial models.
- Performing research and analysis as required.
- Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
- Play a key role in the planning and forecasting cycles for the division, and develop annual, quarterly, and/or other periodic operating plans to drive business development opportunities.
- Track monthly performance reporting and analysis for the divisions and countries
- Proactively lead forward looking financial and business analysis to deliver and discuss relevant and actionable information. This includes:
- Revenue and gross margin analysis including analysis of gross-to-net sales drivers, growth enablers, pricing, product and customer mix
- SG&A and headcount analysis, including field productivity analysis
- Business trends, risks and opportunities assessments (including driving action planning around alternatives)
- key initiatives tracking such as: price tracking, headcount, cost savings/income improvement programs, etc.
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s (or equivalent) university degree in finance, accounting, or other business area of study
- Minimum 4 years experience in Finance
- Creative and decisive problem-solver skills along with an inclusive team orientation
- Proven success and comfort in a multi-divisional matrix organization
- Very adaptable to fast-growing and changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Good training and persuasion skills to drive analytical consistency across various associates
- Fluent English
