Flexdrive is looking for an experienced finance professional who is passionate about the opportunity to develop Flexdrive’s finance operations. In this role, you will focus on Flexdrive’s core financial responsibilities including: financial reporting, cash management, vendor management, budgeting/forecasting and fleet management initiatives. In addition, this individual will build Flexdrive’s internal processes that will streamline financial reporting across multiple focus areas (vehicle acquisition, vehicle remarketing, salvaged vehicles, recoveries, and stolen vehicles). The ideal candidate for the role thrives in a fast-paced culture within a complex space, has a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive results, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to convert ideas to action.
Responsibilities
- Build/Validate complex financial models, for large scale fleet programs and financial reporting
- Forecasting operational trends and related financial impact
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cash transactions and reconcile payments.
- Lead fleet planning and sharing between lines of business to determine the optimal point in the vehicle life cycle to transition vehicles
- Provide accounting team with monthly loan/lease activity inputs
- Develop policies and procedures for operational efficiency
- Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget
- Develop operational initiatives to achieve financial goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to Flexdrive’s financial operations.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a financial environment, focused on accounting and financial analysis within a cross functional business organization
- Previous experience designing and implementing financial processes that leads to program efficiencies
- Experience managing cash flow, vendor payments, producing weekly cash forecast
- Strong financial acumen including vehicle valuation forecasting, vehicle purchase analysis, vehicle life cycle management, and vehicle sales economic analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles related to vehicle lifecycle impact to GAAP financials: Gain/loss, depreciation, carrying value, loan/lease liabilities, etc.
- Demonstrates communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with leadership team
- Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple high priority demands simultaneously; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity
- Operationally-focused, process-oriented, data-driven, and simply able to get stuff done

This role will be remote.
The expected base pay range for this position in the Atlanta area is $55,760 - $69,700. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
