- You are responsible for group-wide reporting (P&L, cash flow and balance sheet) to our various stakeholders, such as the board, management, banks and shareholders (private equity)
- You drive the development and optimization of group-wide standards, processes (eg. forecasting and budgeting) and reporting
- You coordinate and consolidate forecasts, budgets and medium-term planning
- You prepare and coordinate memos independently that enable management to take decisions
- You independently derive recommendations for action for management from KPI-based analysis of the business
- You act as a sparring partner to key stakeholders and support them as a contact person in all relevant financial issues
- You support the commercial / financial / administrative integration of newly acquired companies
- You take over the group-wide project management of optimization and standardization projects (e.g. ERP introduction, KPI reporting).
- You manage the monthly payroll in close collaboration with an external provider
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics/business administration with a focus on finance or controlling or completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training in one of the above areas
- You have several years (5+) of professional experience in investment controlling or a comparable field
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, reporting tools).
- Additional experience in the consulting and/or private equity environment is a clear advantage
- Your structured way of working is characterized by an analytical mindset and a solution-oriented team approach
- You have sound linguistic skills and are able to communicate well with your interlocutors
- We expect you to have a good command of English
The position is based in Bielefeld, with the option to work from home one day per week.
