Job Description
The role will provide a unique opportunity to work in a high-profile function in Global Finance, with exposure to both global and regional senior Finance Management and a cross-section of Group functions (both finance and non-finance). You will be part of a team leading Experian's journey regarding its operation of key finance controls and embedding a new attestation cycle across global finance.
Reporting to the ICFR FC Senior Manager, the ICFR FC Analyst will be an important member of the 2LoD ICFR Finance Controls team within Global Finance.
The ICFR FC team manages the delivery of the annual ICFR Attestation program, to ensure the signing of the annual attestation on the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting.
What you'll do:
- Manage assigned functions or processes as SME.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain Risk & Control Matrices (RACMs).
- Partner with Control Owners and Operators to ensure testing of key controls.
- Perform peer reviews and annual updates of RACMs.
- Perform an annual review and refresh of the RACMs at the commencement of each new financial year for the finance process or (FSLI's), this role is assigned as SME.
- Update RACM changes in Diligent One and report on control implementation.
- Be an ICFR team representative, collaborating with testing teams and auditors.
- Prepare and monitor remediation action plans.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Finance or Accounting Qualification equivalent, including audit background (external or internal) and/or experience in assurance, internal controls, or risk functions.
- 4+ years experience in an audit and accounting firm.
- Experience in a large multinational or listed company and working in a matrix structure is advantageous.
- Understanding of finance processes and financial account balances to support ICFR scoping and control implementation. Training and on-the-job experience provided.
- Build good relationship with Internal & External Auditors and Risk functions ICFR Familiarity: Experience with ICFR/SOX/External Audit scoping, control testing, and financial compliance reporting.
- Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model.
- Advanced English level
