As a listed company, financial reporting plays a vital role in communication with external stakeholders. You will collaborate with and support the organization to enhance quarterly and annual reporting.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Technical Accounting team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence and develop Maersk’s external financial reporting. Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring timely and high-quality quarterly and annual financial reporting.

Planning and coordinating reporting-related closing activities.
-
Maintaining and developing templates for quarterly and annual reports.

Managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating input providers throughout the reporting process.

Implementing external reporting feedback.
-
Supporting Investor Relations with financial reporting activities.
-
Monitoring and staying up-to-date with external reporting trends and developments.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

Education: A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or equivalent.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in external financial reporting, IFRS for a large company, or as an auditor.

Technical Skills:
-
Solid understanding of high-quality external financial reporting.

Strong understanding of accounting standards instead of IFRS

Personal Attributes:

Strong, proactive, and confident communicator, specifically in written English

Skilled in building open, trustful relationships with various stakeholders.

Capable of delivering high-quality results by combining attention to detail with a holistic perspective.
