As a Financial Controller you’ll be responsible for integrity, consistency of financial statements  (incl. IFRS) and statutory reporting as well as ensure compliance to accounting policies and standardized processes for organizational reporting units in scope.

What you’ll do

· .acting as a primary contact for the Finance Business Partner, coordinates interactions on financial and operational accounting performance cross domains

· ensure internal controls are set up in line with the Signify Internal Control framework, effectiveness of these controls is assessed and mitigation actions are defined

· drive and oversee improvement projects related to accounting processes and internal controls in cooperation with other domains

· work together with RTR Accounting Managers in setting up priorities for Accounting Specialists

· coordinate statutory audits and issue resolution

· provide accounting judgement for complex and judgmental accounting issues and know how to leverage the accounting network within Accounting Reporting and Internal Control team to determine the correct accounting (approves all entries that require judgment and IFRS interpretation).

• accounting Expertise (IFRS advanced, local GAAP basic, tax accounting basic)
• advanced knowledge of accounting processes
• advanced knowledge of Internal controls and financial audits

• takes the lead for improvements & advices towards different stakeholders
• communication and influencing skills
• problem solving skills
• LEAN expertise and mindset would be a great advantage
