CYE is looking for a Financial Controller to manage and optimize the financial operations and ensure continuity during a temporary period. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the organization’s goals.
This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce consistent accounting policies and internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated and solo financial statements to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Manage external audits, ensuring a smooth process and accurate financial disclosures.
- Work closely with FP&A to oversee financial performance.
- Work with local accountants to ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements.
- Support accounting and finance-related projects as needed.
Qualifications
- CPA certification with specialization from one of the Big Four accounting firms.
- +2 years of experience in financial controlling.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
- Fluent English – written and verbal.
- Efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proven managerial experience in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
