Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Financial and Tax Manager to advice the tax and corporate compliance of two SAAS software company and manage the daily financial management of two holding companies within our group. This role requires a professional with a strong tax background who can also provide expert tax advice to other companies in the group. Proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Management

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations for two holding companies, ensuring worldwide efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee the shareholders in their responsibilities towards two subsidiaries of the holding companies.
  • Oversee and advice two SAAS software companies on tax and corporate compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure both companies adhere to legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for both companies, ensuring financial health and goal alignment.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and profitability for both entities.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, working closely with accountants as needed.

Tax Advisory

  • Provide expert tax advice to other companies within the group, focusing on tax optimization and compliance.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve financial efficiency across the group.

Strategic Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow both holding companies while optimizing operations and shareholdings.
  • Represent the companies at meetings and negotiations to build strong relationships and drive business growth.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Strong fiscal background with expertise in tax laws, financial planning, and compliance.
  • Proven experience managing entities or a complex business environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of Dutch tax laws and business regulations.
  • Experience in providing advisory services on tax matters to other businesses.
  • An international orientation.
