Job Summary
This position is responsible for participating in critical sales and financial analysis, sales and financial planning/reforecasting, and economic modeling for the purposes of driving a deep understanding of the financial outcomes of Dearborn National s lines of business; and facilitating preparation of analytical reports and presentation materials. Assists in the development of financial and operational insight with respect to performance data and other materials that help shape decisions on business strategy and tactics, to help achieve performance imperatives such as revenue growth and cost savings. This position will also demonstrate understanding of industry concepts, including an understanding of the Company's specific practices, procedures, systems and applications.
Required Job Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics, or related fields.
*PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar. Proficiency in designing reports.
*Strong verbal and written communications skills to prepare effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and participate in presentations.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
*Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics.
*2 years of experience in financial consulting or financial analysis
*Insurance industry experience.
*Tableau, PowerPoint or similar.
*Experience working cross-functionally within all levels of the organization and in problem resolution.
*Negotiating and influencing skills.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
