JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their Finance career in a role with a finance reporting focus. You will work closely within our Finance reporting team to ensure smooth and timely completion of month end and other periodic tasks including supporting the submission of information to regulatory bodies and additional information to HBX Group finance consolidation team.
Responsibilities:

Assisting and supporting all month end processes including, but not limited to, ensuring all journals, accruals, pre-payments, and revenue items are posted correctly.

Working closely with Business Finance and Project Manager in completion of the source files that drive the monthly Profit and Loss accounts within tight deadlines.

Undertaking weekly cash and foreign currency requirements reporting to monitor any potential shortages.

Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual commission and override reporting working closely with the Sales team. Further to this, you will be responsible to ensure the corresponding invoices are reviewed, approved, and paid within the agreed payment terms.

Supporting and act as first point of escalation for all internal and external financial queries actioning them in a timely manner.

Posting overhead and commission invoices to accounting software package and providing support with the reconciling of ledgers and posting of journals.

Support and work closely and effectively with the Business Finance and Project Manager during the annual audit cycle to ensure all requests are completed in a timely manner.

Work in a collaborative manner with wider finance and non-finance members within the business.

Other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job and the title of the position that may arise from time to time or as required by the Business Finance and Project Manager and wider Finance team.
Skills:

Experience and Qualifications:

Some experience in applicable field of finance and/or commercial and/or industry ideal

Part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
