Hexcel is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to be based at our Salt Lake City, UT location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Serve as a key finance business partner to the leadership team by providing Financial Planning and Analysis support, particularly by maturing and streamlining financial frameworks to enable increased management rigor across the various dimensions of the business.
- Lead manufacturing cost improvement for all products, including feedback on estimated manufacturing costs for future programs, identification of focus areas for cost, and execution of identified initiatives.
- Support the operation of the business through performance of working-level professional accounting work to and participating in monthly financial close process.
- Support the capital expenditure planning and execution process for medium to high complexity projects to ensure highest returns on net assets and investments.
- Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions. Support both internal and external audits of financial controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting preferred); MS in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 2+ years of experience in operational finance or manufacturing
- Familiarity with MRP systems, with Journal Entries and advanced Excel skills
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with various levels of the organization
