About Role

As Senior Financial Analys you are a proactive business partner, expected to apply finance expertise to support business development and growth, while operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and maintaining a strong control and governance environment.  In this role you report to Finance Manager R&L/Research Sales.

About Team

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and global organization? Our Business Decision Support team is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting of headcount, labour cost, and other operating expenses as well as sales performance vs target for various A&G business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: In close collaboration with the business, develop forward-looking expectations for cost and headcount based on actuals, hiring and investment plans, and other business inputs; prepare headcount and cost analysis and provide insights and commentary on variance analysis.

    Management Reporting: Run specific queries and reports, reconcile data, and provide comprehensive analysis for labour cost, other indirect cost and headcount movements for various stakeholders within the A&G organization.

    Continuous Improvement: Seek and implement continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service for systems under control.

    Internal Control: Establish and execute internal control policies, support annual audits, and ensure data integrity and consistency across all financial processes.

Requirements

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and MS Excel modeling capabilities to provide deep insights and resolve finance inquiries independently. Experience with manipulating large data sets, as well as ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive and motivated individual with a can-do mentality, ready to take on challenges in a complex and demanding environment. Curious by nature, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Team Player: Ability to assist other Analysts and Business Controllers with day-to-day operational responsibilities and ad-hoc projects.
  • Quick Learner comfortable with Change: Adaptability to quickly learn and navigate our financial systems and processes.
  • Communication skills and language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to clearly convey financial information to a range of stakeholders in our multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
  • Technical skills: MS excel – advanced user, Oracle Hyperion products and Smartview – preferable.
  • Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area.  At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, including providing commentaries.
