Financial Analyst

Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support the mission-oriented efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) technologies. 

In this role you will:

  • Design, implement and maintain project based financial measurement processes
  • Provide financial guidance to management and project managers
  • Work with managers to create project budgets and schedules
  • Perform/assist in work plan reconciliation and reporting
  • Provide weekly/monthly financial status updates to the Director of Finance
  • Review current financial metrics for improvement and optimization
  • Research and implement cost savings strategies
  • Support the Director of Finance in organizing and creating proposals, invoices, purchase orders, and RFQs.
  • Ad hoc duties (i.e. revenue projections, market research, and budgeting etc.)
  • Oversee all aspects of project finance tasks

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business discipline: Finance, Accounting, Operations Management and 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience with GAAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate internally to managers and externally to customers/suppliers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Finance or accounting experience 
  • Experience working with engineering firms 
  • QuickBooks or other accounting software experience 

Job Functions

  • Position requires in-office presence in Seattle (South Lake Union) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Travel: Travel is not required
  • Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)
  • Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds
  • Repetitive work: Prolonged
  • Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work
  • Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary band for this position is $90,000-$120,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
