Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst conducts quantitative analysis and reporting affecting any financial data within the enterprise. The analyst performs various analyses, including but not limited to cost/benefit analysis, long term forecasting, cost trending and root cause analysis, variance analysis, human capital analysis, cost reduction, profitability analysis, analysis of financial statements, claims and premium analysis and other strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years' financial analysis, accounting, data analysis and/or auditing experience with a complex system technology. OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum one (1) years' experience.

ResponsibilitiesAssists with financial reporting audits, working with the internal audits, Arkansas Insurance Department, independent auditors, and/or Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association., Conducts analysis and interpretation of financial information. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, identifies trends, variances, and key issues to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls., Interprets, summarizes, and presents financial findings and recommendations; thoroughly communicating with various business partners and leadership., Other duties as assigned., Performs moderate to complex financial analysis projects and/or reporting., Serves as a financial consultant, or liaison, to the management and executive staff to provide analytical support for operations analysis and decision making.
