Description
We are looking for high potential Financial Analysts capable of executing sound analysis that can influence the business to make sound strategic and operational decisions. Your work, whether it's executing modeling of business scenarios for one of our business or partnerships, or preparing and reporting on company-wide performance metrics, is used by the leadership team to grow the business at a rapid rate in a fast paced environment.
A finance professional at heart with a drive to get things done, you are passionate about bringing technological change to the Healthcare industry and building a multi-billion dollar business. A master juggler working on multiple initiatives at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage analytics, business planning and reporting for the Verily team, including revenue, headcount and cost evaluations.
- Ability to work with large data sets to decipher interesting business intelligence for product and leadership teams.
- Partner with the product teams and other groups within finance to support monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning cycles. Drive visibility into business performance and enable resource planning decisions.
- Help to evaluate, structure, execute and support key partnership agreements and/or customer sales.
- Support justification for large spending requests to senior management and the Verily Board.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or Finance.
- 4+ years relevant work experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar roles.
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting processes and terminology.
- Proven Microsoft Excel skills, and other database, automation or business intelligence skills (e.g. SQL, TSL, Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan).
Preferred Qualifications
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills and ability to communicate with executives and senior management teams.
- Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and defining the agenda.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in Healthcare services, Biotech or Pharma
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000 - $146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
