The Financial Analyst (Finland based) will provide meaningful financial analysis of M-Files performance including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting across all levels of management within M-Files.  The role will assist in building out the Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company as it embarks on the next level of growth.

The preferred location of this position is in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Tampere, Finland .
This position will report to the Senior Finance Manager.

What you will be doing/Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create & maintain monthly & quarterly financial reporting inventory
• Prepare and distribute recurring management reports
• Compile analysis for inclusion into board meeting materials
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis regarding company profitability, expense analysis, cashflows, headcount, and other key financial metrics
• Create and monitor KPIs to measure company performance
• Interface with other functions to gather data and drive operational efficiencies
• Contribute with monthly accounting close & reporting process
• Assist with expense analysis & management
• Participate in budgeting & planning activities
• Will collaborate with Product, People & Culture, and Business Technology functions as needed

Who you are /Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• 2-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Organizational, written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills and ability to interface with highest levels of management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional Excel skills with ability to handle large datasets
• Systems orientation, including ability to quickly learn new tools such as Power BI, NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, or Planful
