Job Summary
- The Financial Analysis Senior Advisor will partner with the Director, Financial Analysis with analytic support for the Finance, Product, and Supply Chain organizations.
- This position will be responsible for timely and accurate financial analysis necessary to support key strategic initiatives.
- The role will provide tracking and communication to senior leadership for the value associated with key strategic initiatives.
- Additionally, this position will work closely with the Director to develop and distribute macro and micro level reporting with sufficient detail to make informed business decisions.
- The Senior Advisor will perform ad hoc analysis as directed by the Director, Financial Analysis.
Essential Functions
- Development and implementation of modeling tools and analysis in support of negotiations.
- Lead analysis of claims data related to assessment of strategic corporate initiatives and projects.
- Key department deliverables: Challenge the status quo in search of new processes, ideas, technology to move us forward faster to favorable competitive position.
- Forecast Validation- perform a thorough analytical review of all inputs on a monthly basis
- Collaborates with sales and account management, marketing, new sales, and other departments as needed.
- Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Perform analyses to identify errors, support issue resolution and client negotiations.
- Regularly identify key insights on business performance.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
- 5+ years related experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required, Proficiency in Teradata, SQL preferred.
- Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions.
- Strong business and organizational skills; Ability to work with minimal to no oversight.
- Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
- Knowledge of PBM or Healthcare industry preferred.
