Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Financial Advisor drives business results by developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs and delivering an exceptional client experience. The Financial Advisor will serve as a resource for clients with complex wealth management needs and financial planning solutions, as well as, exhibiting technical knowledge and competency in investment management, retirement and conducting retirement plan participant education meetings. In addition, the Financial Advisor will support business development efforts including events, campaigns, prospect meetings, and proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Drive business results by developing, managing and expanding client relationships through referrals and new business development activities

  • Earn clients’ trust by thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering an exceptional client experience

  • Advise clients on all aspects of wealth management, including asset allocation, investment management and wealth planning

  • Serve as a resource for clients with complex wealth management needs and financial planning solutions

  • Exhibit technical knowledge and competency in investment management, financial planning, retirement plan management, and conducting retirement plan participant education meetings; meet with individual participants; build relationships with participants and key employees

  • Develop leads through working with existing plan clients, educational efforts, networking and client referrals. Convert leads to wealth management clients.  Meet annual sales goals by advancing prospects through the opportunity pipeline to close business.

  • Work closely with Senior Vice President – Investment Advisory Services to understand the investment philosophy and ensure that clients are provided with the best investment solutions

  • Meet with clients regularly to ensure investments align with client goals, risk tolerances and personal situations

  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans based on client inputs and related documentation. In collaboration with Senior Vice President, present financial plan to client; maintain plan over time

  • Work in conjunction with the service team on day-to-day service activities

  • Support business development efforts of the Senior Vice President -- Investment Advisory Services which may include events, campaigns, prospect meetings and proposals

  • Advise retirement plan clients on all aspects of their retirement plan programs, from design, to implementation, to maintenance.

  • Assist in developing quarterly reports, scorecard materials and due diligence efforts for retirement plan clients

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with an ability to thrive in a team-based and collaborative environment

  • Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has exceptional presentation skills

  • Demonstrated client focus, business development and relationship management skills

  • Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity

  • Proven ability to build a multi-million dollar book of business with high-net-worth individuals

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Licensed as an IAR (investment advisor representative), Series 65 or 66

  • Professional designations: CFP, or working towards it, preferred

  • Knowledge of MoneyGuidePro and related financial planning processes

  • Knowledge of Salesforce

  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and retirement plan sponsors

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
