The role:
As a Financial & accounting analyst, you will help drive our goals by:

Reviewing and analyzing information from the general ledger and other accounting records.

Leading the preparation of financial analysis for Local Finance to take decisions and actions that drive the best possible financial outcomes.

Providing support in monitoring financial & business performance metrics and operational performance measurement metrics.

Developing ad-hoc reports and responding to relevant ad hoc queries from the Business/RTR service delivery manager.

Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives, streamlining financial processes, and enhancing data integrity and accuracy.

Maintaining close relationships with key stakeholder groups to ensure responsiveness to their needs and escalation to resolution of internal performance problems.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Experience in a similar industry in a record-to-report/general accounting role for more than 10 years.

Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

Business-oriented mindset and a keen interest in the field.

Good analytical skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.
-
Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
