The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Supervisor within our Abbott Corporate Functions located in Abbott Park, IL. The position provides financial/business planning, reporting and analysis support to the Abbott Corporate Functions.
What You'll Do:
-
Coordinate planning and consolidation activities for LBEs, monthly close and Cash Flow reporting across all Corporate functions. Liaison between Corp Functions FP&A and CFP&A

System Administrator of the Corporate Functions Planning and Reporting system (FPACorp). Facilitate development and improvement of management reporting systems.

Establish, maintain, and control financial planning processes to deliver meaningful and comprehensive Plans and LBEs, assuring compliance with Corporate requirements.

Play a leadership role in identifying trends/risks/opportunities in P&L, Cash Flow, and Capital forecasts.

Preparation and consolidation of Quarterly LBE Reviews with Senior Leadership

Manage the yearly Topside / Product Cost allocation process, including gathering all inputs, putting together financial analysis and presentations for Senior Leadership, and communicating to all impacted divisions

Involved in new hire onboarding including granting system access, along with training for FPACorp and SAP
-
Ad hoc financial analysis - development and reporting of key expense trends, financial and operating metrics which support strategy and business operations
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA preferred
-
4+ years of business analysis/FP&A experience
-
4+ years data mining/manipulation and data validation skills, and data reporting
-
Sales finance and/or marketing finance experience strongly recommended
-
Strong communication skills - oral, written, and interpersonal
-
Ability to present financial data and concepts to management and non-financial personnel
-
Advanced proficiency with financial systems and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, Salesforce.com, Qlikview Applications)
-
Minimal to no travel required.

The base pay for this position is
$85,300.00 – $170,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
