We are looking for a finance specialist to join our Japan office. This position will be handling AP, AR, and other finance-related duties and will be working closely with overseas offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute journal entries for external and internal sales, WIP (Work in Progress), payroll, social insurance, accrual etc.
- Manage WIP balance
- Manage withholding tax balance
- Prepare flash report and monthly closing report draft
- Prepare Opex budget for functions
- Manage all accounting items of a subsidiary (Create Journal entries and report to a Finance member in Reginal HQ in India)
- Manage tax issues in liaison with tax consultants
- Take part in ad-hoc projects
Basic Qualifications
- More than 7 years of financial accounting experience
- Capability to perform financial closing procedures and tax
- Competent in accounting systems and MS Excel (Experience in NetSuite and Tagetik is preferred)
- Knowledge and experience on IFRS are advantage
- Business level English, Native level Japanese
