The purpose of this role is to provide operational support in the financial process of the group that includes analysing financial reports, to compare against planned figures and provide management with insightful reporting. The role requires providing valuable insights to support decision-making, contributing to process improvement, and monitoring divisional performance against budgets and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met.
- Prepare monthly management reports and month-end accruals.
- Investigate and analyse variances of actual vs budget and provide commentary.
- Perform deep dive analysis of costs.
- Collaborate with divisional finance teams for cost investigations.
- Facilitate intercompany recharges through analysis and reconciliations.
- Facilitate capitalisation of assets and draft memos for auditors.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant work experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Call centre experience in insurance and/or banking industry with billing responsibilities.
- Policy administration experience.
- Experience in BPO industry with shifting schedules.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
