Job Title: Reporting Manager, Finance Shared Services
Location: Manila, Philippines
Position Summary:
The Reporting Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reporting team, ensuring all deliverables of the Reporting tower of Genesys are accurate and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall deliverables of Financial Reporting and Tax and Compliance Team, in close coordination with Corporate Controller and Global Tax Team.
- Manage external, internal and SOX audits, ensuring timely completion of statutory, regulatory, tax and financial reporting and compliance
- Assist in the implementation of new ERP systems.
- Work closely with business partners to resolve issues and/or to gather financial-related information to better understand flux and variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards, statutory, tax and regulatory requirements, US GAAP and SOX. Stay updated with reporting and compliance changes in tax and accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments in close coordination with key stakeholders.
- Identify, initiate and lead process improvements of medium complexity
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of individuals that may include supervisors, associate managers and/or another manager.
- Ensure up to date SOPs, reviews processes and workflow documentations and maintain proper inventory and repository.
- Active participation in and support to Global and FSSC projects and initiatives
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience with multinational companies
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience leading a team
- Experience leading a project and managing multiple priorities
- Attention to details
- BPO/SSC work experience required
- Extensive experience and deep knowledge in ERP system, technical accounting, reporting and analysis and risk control management
- Advanced level in communication skills, both written and oral
- Advanced level in leadership, talent management, and critical thinking
- Experienced in stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making
