Are you passionate about driving innovation and delivering exceptional products? As a Finance Product Development Lead you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of financial products, from ideation to optimisation, ensuring they meet member needs and align with RAC Finance strategy helping grow and enhance the RAC Finance product line.
What will you be doing?
- Leading Product Development: Manage the complete lifecycle of new products, including ideation, business casing, requirements definition, testing, launch, and post-launch optimisation.
- Enhancing Existing Products: Research and implement changes to maintain product value, ensuring they deliver optimal outcomes for members and align with business strategy.
- Driving Analysis and Insights: Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and profitability assessments to identify weaknesses and recommend pricing strategies.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with Business Applications, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, and Operations teams to understand products, member behaviours, and operational needs.
- Supporting Stakeholder Engagement: Develop product materials and communications for internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with change teams and champions.
- Governance and Compliance: Contribute to product governance frameworks, ensuring products are compliant by design and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Leading Product Projects: Oversee the implementation of product projects, manage dependencies, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
What are we looking for in you?
- Educational Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in marketing, finance, product management, business, or a related discipline.
- Product Management Expertise: Significant experience in product management, product marketing, and product delivery within financial services.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct deep-dive analysis into product feasibility, profitability, and market trends, delivering actionable insights.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of pricing development is desirable.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across internal and external teams.
- Project Management: Experience managing product-related projects, including analysis, impact assessment, and rollout strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: A track record of contributing to strategy development and influencing commercial and customer outcomes.
