Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Finance Manager to join our Finance Team in our Gurgaon office. Our AECOM Finance team is a spirited group of professionals dedicated to developing our company’s greatest asset—our people. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly close processes and Group reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operational Team to provide insightful financial analysis for decision-making.
  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of business reports and forecasts, including cash forecasts, P&L forecasting, ad-hoc reports, and the annual budgeting process.
  • Monitor projects financially from the Bid Stage to completion, ensuring sound financial controls.
  • Identify and report Risks, Opportunities, and Issues, providing strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct deep analysis of results and KPIs to understand budget deviations and financial performance.
  • Lead statutory and tax audits related to Project Accounting, Revenue Recognition, AR, and WIP, ensuring timely completion.
  • Drive collections and maintain a healthy Cash Flow/ Operating Cash Flow (OCF).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants, statutory auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Oversee Oracle month-end activities, US GAAP reporting, and reconciliation with local GAAPs.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and statutory reporting frameworks.
  • Develop team members and demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities.

Qualifications

  • CA/CPA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 12- 15 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and project accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Prior experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) or consulting firm is a plus.
