Job Description
The Finance Manager oversees daily finance and accounting functions at Centurion-Supreme Boats. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining accounting processes, overseeing A/P and A/R personnel, daily cash reconciliations, revenue and expense tracking, month end close and corporate consolidations. Additional responsbilities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance and inventory analysis. The Finance Manager is a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for the timely and accurate presentation of the monthly financial statements.The position requires limited travel based on business needs.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight and responsbility for all aspects of the month end close process.
- Inventory reconciliation (e.g., finished boats, WIP, tracking boats in the field).
- Prepare financial statements according to GAAP guidelines.
- Maintain and review daily bank transaction information and distribute daily cash reporting to leadership as needed.
- Manage annual budget process, including preparation, review and confirmation with company leadership.
- Submit monthly and quarterly sales and use tax filings.
- Manage accounting functions including GL, AP and AR.
- Facilitate compiling year-end audit work for external auditors.
- ROI analysis for capital projects.

- Advanced technical ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar is required.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
- 3- 5 years progressive experience in an Accounting role, including supervisory or management experience.
- Expert knowledge of all accounting functions, processes and procedures, including GAAP requirements.
- Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
