Job Description
The Finance Manager - Revenue (Asia) will report to the Head of Finance - APAC Revenue. They will handle all finance tasks for SEEK's Revenue in the Asia region, which includes six markets. Their responsibilities include management reporting, financial planning and analysis, and providing financial mentorship for growth and profitability goals.
The role will lead one direct report.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting
- Ownership of the month-end reporting cycle for Asia Revenue, including the delivery of management reporting to key senior partners
- Analyse results and deliver insight by analysing monthly results and reporting key insights, risks, and opportunities
- Provide external reporting by owning and delivering financial information included in the bi-annual statutory and investor relations reporting
Budgeting/forecasting
- Be responsible for the forecasting and planning cycle. Provide in-depth analysis of key drivers. Identify material risks and opportunities.
- Proactively query and analyze large volumes of data. Identify trends and gaps. Model alternative scenarios and recommend decisions to leaders.
- Drive improvements to the forecasting process, including the implementation of a new rolling forecast model
Business Partnering / APAC initiatives
- Support revenue planning and execution by encouraging positive relationships with country Managing Directors and finance teams across Asia. Serve as a trusted advisor and lead collaboration efforts, providing strategic financial counsel and support on revenue initiatives.
- Support all business partnering activities aligned to the achievement of strategic objectives related to revenue performance
- Support to implement consistent reporting/forecasting/processes across the APAC region
- Support to ensure alignment in the treatment/reporting of new products across APAC as they are rolled out over time
Qualifications
Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate will have:
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 8+ years of post-qualification experience
- Experience within a commercial finance function with responsibilities covering regular management reporting, FP&A, and business partnering
- Ability to work closely with various teams to navigate uncertainty, establish operational finance processes, and enhance support for revenue initiatives
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and cope in a highly fluid environment both independently and closely in a team with varied strengths
- Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills with the ability to influence collaborators at all levels
- Business & financial analysis, report writing, MS PowerPoint & Excel. Additionally, a strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data visualization tools would be beneficial to improve process automation, data analysis, and reporting capabilities
