About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify and record supplier invoices in the hotel’s accounting system.

Ensure invoices are complete, accurate, and approved by the relevant departments.

Assist in scheduling payments to suppliers, ensuring deadlines are met.

Follow up to resolve any discrepancies in payments or invoices.

Support the reconciliation of bank accounts and accounts payable status.

Organize and file documents related to payments and invoices in an orderly and accessible manner for future audits.

Contact suppliers to clarify any doubts regarding invoices, payments, or contract terms.

Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable and cash flow.

Ensure that all transactions are carried out in accordance with the hotel's policies and procedures.
Requirements

University student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

Proficient in accounting software (such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems).

Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial records.

Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Previous experience is not required, but any prior experience in accounting or finance, especially in the hotel industry, will be valued.
