Job Description:
Location: On-site in Winnipeg, MB
Duration: May 19 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks, flexible end depending on school schedule)
Compensation:

What You’ll Do

Rotate across multiple areas of finance for a broad learning experience

Assist with audit preparation and documentation
-
Review and organize financial reports and data
-
Support reconciliations and verify data accuracy
-
Contribute to diverse accounting and financial reporting projects

Collaborate with the finance team to meet key internal deadlines
What We’re Looking For
-
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting or Finance
-
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial data
-
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
-
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
-
Professional, self-driven, and accountable
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous office or administrative experience is a plus
-
Business students—especially those from the Asper School of Business (University of Manitoba)—are encouraged to apply

Interest in corporate audit, reporting, or operational finance

Internship Setup

Location: On-site at The Boyd Group’s Winnipeg office

***Schedule: Interns will work on-site at our Winnipeg office approximately four days per week. The specific schedule is flexible and will be determined based on team needs and intern availability.
