ABOUT YOU:
As the Finance Director, you will be the key conduit between the financial activities of the company and key management. You will manage controlling, financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and financial planning processes for the company. Your input will assist stakeholders in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY JOB LOOK LIKE?

  • Partner with and provide financial thought-leadership to the CFO as well as other senior management; offer insightful value-added advice and recommendations

  • Analyze operations and working capital components to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement

  • Perform thorough analysis of financial results, demonstrating a strong understanding of the key business drivers; meet quarterly with senior management to review results compared to budget, forecast and prior year

  • Manage the credit and collections organization; ensure consistent improvement in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), timely cash collections of Accounts Receivable (AR), and proper credit risk management

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable team, ensuring fidelity of payment processes and the accurate and timely reporting of expenses and obligations

  • Manage and control operating expenses

  • Direct the preparation of management accounting reports and analysis

  • Coordinate the development of the Annual Plan, Multi-year Strategic Plan and Monthly Forecast Updates; conduct Financial review and vetting 

  • Oversee preparation of the Annual Plan, Quarterly Business Review and Monthly Business Review Presentations

  • Work closely with other operating companies to align policies and provide guidance

  • Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies

  • Ensure corporate income tax compliance and assist in the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns

  • Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits and annual budgets

  • Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value

  • Respond to CFO as needed with accurate and timely information to facilitate his financial needs

  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects, compiling a variety of special reports

  • Collaborate closely with the parent organization, providing timely responses to all requests

  • Manage and mentor a team of Finance professionals

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 10 years of experience in Finance

  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

  • Excellent understanding of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)

  • Strong background in data analysis and forecasting

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software (SAP)

  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar field; CPA preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

SALARY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $180,000 to $220,000.
