The Financial Manager portion is responsible for overseeing the financial health and operations of a mid-sized technology company supporting the U.S. federal government and intelligence community (IC). This position involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with federal contracting regulations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in federal contracting, cost accounting, and financial analysis.


The Pricing Director portion is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for a mid-sized technology company supporting the U.S. federal government and intelligence community (IC). This role ensures competitive, compliant, and profitable pricing for proposals, task orders, and contract modifications. The Pricing Director plays a critical role in shaping the company’s growth by aligning pricing strategies with market demands and government contracting regulations.


This role is essential for driving the financial and strategic growth of the organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a mission-driven, highly regulated environment where precision, compliance and innovation are critical to success.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial performance to identify key operational drivers against forecasts and budgets
  • Lead weekly performance reporting and forecasting meetings of key P&L line items
  • Maintain project financial model on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to include historical actuals, current month status and forward projections
  • Continually refine the project financial model and estimating techniques employed to produce accurate estimates and projections
  • Highly proficient in analytics, research, and management reporting at a senior leadership level
  • Financial management of all contracts to performance within cost, schedule and management constraints
  • Support fact-finding and negotiation of proposals submitted
  • Establish internal budgets and on some occasions, use earned value management tools to report contract cost and schedule performance

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • 7+ years of pricing experience in federal contracting with a focus on the intelligence community or defense markets
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management
  • Deep understanding of federal contracting regulations (FAR, DFAR, CAS)
  • Proficient in pricing tools and financial modeling software (ProPricer, Deltek, Costpoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex pricing efforts under tight deadlines
  • US Citizenship
