Your opportunity
Future You is our two-year early career program aimed at giving ambitious, results-focused, creative thinkers like you a chance to accelerate your development and grow into becoming a Huhtamaki leader of the future. You’ll also meet with global colleagues on the Future You program to train and work on exciting projects together.
With two positions available, one in our Flexibles Packaging segment and one in Fiber Foodservice, this is your opportunity for a real learning on-the-job position that will equip you with skills to build, execute and lead sustainability initiatives in a global company setting. The program is built around 4-6 month rotations across our global business in Segment Finance & Controlling, Business Unit Finance and Group Finance, giving you a unique opportunity to learn about our company and develop fast in your role.
Where you’ll be
You’ll be based in our headquarters Espoo, Finland for most of the program, with one 6 month rotation to one of our production sites in Europe.
What you’ll be doing

Segment Finance & Controlling: Learn cost and commercial controlling, financial planning, and analysis to understand strategic business decisions.

Finance Team (European site): See how finance integrates into daily operations and helps optimize profitability.

Group Finance: Compile financial reports, identify and mitigate risks, and support group-wide financial strategies.

Flexible Packaging Commercial Excellence or Fiber Foodservice Strategy: Learn about sales strategy and customer support, or understand segment support for achieving the 3-year plan.

Final Rotation: Swap with a 'Future You' Finance colleague to experience their Segment Finance & Controlling function and identify best practices.

By the end of the program you will be well-equipped to take on a role as Finance or Business Controller, delivering financial insights and driving profitable growth.
What you’ll bring to the role
The ideal candidates will have strong business acumen, be results-focused, and creative and motivated thinkers. You’ll have passion for analyzing financial data, understanding business operations, solving problems, and communicating effectively to be a trusted sparring partner for the business. We are looking for people who are versatile, can adapt to the situation, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
The ideal candidate will have

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and Management (You must have graduated or be due to graduate before August 2025)

Finance & Accounting focus areas during your studies could include; finance projections and planning, data analytics,
Up to 2 years' work experience (prior to or after graduation) -
International experience gained via studying or working abroad or through working in international environment

Excellent communication, analytical mindset and project management skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout Huhtamaki

Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in other languages is an advantage

Willingness & flexibility to travel and work abroad for up to 6 months across Europe
