Role :

As a Finance Business Partner, you will use your finance expertise to build partnerships with the business and help drive the strategic business plan, supporting strategy and decision-making with critical financial insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Business control

  • Brings visibility over the performance forecasted for his/her channel, through financial processes (RGM, Annual Plan, Forecasts) and via Sales & Operations Planning cycles (S&OP),
  • Challenges assumptions to ensure sufficient level of confidence in the forecast accuracy
  • Identifies opps & risks
  • Communicates net sales landing (« Weekly Sales Forecast »),
  • Tracks performance through Month End Closing; explains the main drivers and interprets the impacts on the YTGo,
  • Proposes corrective actions to the Business.

Business partnering / Collaboration

  • Monitors Trade Investments along with NRM team and challenges Sales team to reach pricing targets,
  • Offers opportunities to improve net sales growth and gross margin (e.g. pricing, mix),
  • Organizes and coordinates financial processes with Business and Finance stakeholders incl. the Hub.

Reporting

  • Communicates the financial results of the channel he/she is responsible for, to Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Sales and Marketing,
  • Shares any info that may help to improve customer / product management.

Compliance

  • Adheres and applies accounting standards and Corporate policies; performs SOX controls on his/her scope; addresses Group auditors requests,
  • Provides information required for transfer prices & standard costs setting, local taxes filing and membership to trade associations.

Ad hoc requests

  • Addresses financial queries received from other Functions; builds specific business cases (e.g. innovation launches, regulatory changes, competitive analyses...),
  • Takes part in local or European projects aiming at implementing new tools or processes; if needed, backfills his/her Finance counterpart on critical activities.

Continuous improvement

  • Optimizes the tracking tools used by Finance or provided to other Functions,
  • Contributes to improve cross functional processes (e.g. « Weekly Sales Forecast », S&OP cycles or Forecasts)

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience on similar position within the FMCG industry,
  • Fluent in French and English,
  • Advanced degree in finance,
  • Demonstrated ability to display key attributes of successful finance partnering, including business knowledge and technical finance knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective financial management for a complex organization using technical expertise and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes.

Your ability to collaborate effectively with financial and operational stakeholders, combined with strong technical and financial skills, as well as a solid capacity for analysis, organization, and communication, is essential to the success of this role.
