Fox TV Stations

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Areas of key responsibility: 
Accounts Receivable:
•    Establish and update records for new advertisers and agencies.
•    Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
•    Conduct collections by contacting advertisers and agencies for outstanding invoices.
•    Maintain detailed station aging reports, including activity notes.
•    Record and track daily cash receipts, wires, and intercompany transfers.
•    Prepare Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) reports with detailed explanations and analysis.
•    Manage client credit statuses.
•    Organize and lead A/R meetings with sales managers.
•    Coordinate the refund process with Sales and Accounts Payable.
•    Prepare advertiser dormancy reviews.
•    Generate no-charge reports and identify potential risks or inconsistencies.
Revenue Management:
•    Reconcile daily logs to ensure accuracy.
•    Prepare, review, and manage invoicing processes.
•    Ensure invoice revisions comply with audit standards and update systems accordingly.
•    Investigate and analyze variances in pacing and categories.
General Ledger:
•    Produce comprehensive financial reports.
•    Ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting compared to previous periods.
•    Assist in preparing reconciliations, analyses, and supporting documentation.
•    Develop and maintain prepaid amortization schedules.
•    Manage Fixed Assets in Workday.
•    Prepare and input journal entries with appropriate documentation.
Reporting and Analysis:
•    Test new financial models for accuracy and reliability.
•    Create weekly and bi-weekly management reports.
•    Recommend and implement improvements to reports and analyses.
•    Maintain organized files and respond to information requests.
Policy and Procedure:
•    Review and ensure adherence to company policies and suggest continuous improvements.
•    Stay informed about company policies and procedures.
•    Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
•    Prepare and research audit requests, resolving any discrepancies.
•    Assist in the SAQ process, including application completion and support preparation.

Additional Responsibilities:
•    Participate in company training seminars and meetings.
•    Adhere to all corporate, station, and department policies and guidelines.
•    Undertake special projects assigned by TVHO or management.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•    Detail-oriented with a proven track record of dependability and accuracy.
•    Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel - Intermediate/Advanced), Wide Orbit, Workday, and Madhive are a plus.
•    Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•    Capable of producing quick turnarounds in a dynamic business setting.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $57,000.00-62,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $47,500.00-51,600.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
