The Role
SimplePractice is seeking detail-oriented, organized self-starter to join our Finance team as a Financial Analyst. As the Financial Analyst you will report to Manager of FP&A and will be responsible for the Company’s budgeting, forecasting processes, and financial analysis to support key decisions. This role will interact with key stakeholders to present timely and accurate reports, work to streamline procedures, improve efficiencies and resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and has 2+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or other related fields. MBA or CPA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Assist with preparation of board presentations and other monthly reports
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information
- Work side by side with accounting team on topics such as variance analysis & reporting
- Work with business unit leads to help them understand how their business is performing, provide insight and recommendations
- Perform ad hoc special analysis projects (i.e. profitability analysis of products & services, CAC, LTV, etc.)
- Look for places to drive reporting and ongoing analysis automation
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
- Experience with SAAS business model and requisite KPIs and Analytics
- Experience with financial planning software especially Adaptive Insights and NetSuite is a plus
- Must be comfortable managing geographically diverse business units
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must show initiative, be hands-on, work well both independently on projects and as part of a team
- Proven ability to multitask and work through ambiguous requirements
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and work through issues at all levels within the organization
- Excellent project management skills and ability to drive projects to completion
- Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
Monthly Compensation Range
MXN $31,000 - $37,000 per month
Base salary is one component of total compensation.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
