This role
As a Finance Analyst you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and support the existing finance and FP&A functions of the company. You will provide support to the finance team’s efforts in managing and servicing existing debt investors.
This role requires strong analytical and forecasting skills to ensure healthy financial planning and operations controls.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to support ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and modeling in support of PayJoy’s aggressive goals.
- The role will have straight contact with the FP&A team in the US.
- Develop financial models (top-down and bottom-up) for budgeting, business forecasting, company health, and pricing evaluation.
- Provide periodic KPI reporting to headquarters in USA.
- Work closely with the regional Country Managers to model the value of future partnership opportunities.
- Support company-wide budgeting processes including monthly budget vs. actuals analysis of operating and non-operating cash flows.
- Run distribution calculations for principal and interest for multiple debt facilities.
- Create local dashboards providing real-time insight into KPIs and other financial metrics.
- Work closely with the accounting team to gather financial information and assist with the reconciliation of Local GAAP versus US GAAP.
- Support Capital Markets team to raise funding to leverage the portfolio
- Search for opportunities to optimize the use of cash and improve profitability
- Implement better controls to process payments to merchants and vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Finance, Accouting, Economy, Business Administration or Engineering with more than 2 years experience.
- MBA is a plus
- Excellent Excel modeling skills, Google Sheets experience is a plus.
- Knowledge in PowerPoint and Google Presentations
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
- Prior experience at leading consultancy, financial institutions or fintech is a plus.
- Languages: English is mandatory
